What we collect
When you sign in and take the 25/50 pledge, we collect:
- Account information — your name, email address, and profile photo from your sign-in provider (Google, GitHub, X, or Apple)
- Pledge details — the name, country, city, email, year of birth, and organization you provide on the pledge form
- Authentication data — a unique user ID and provider identifiers managed by Firebase Authentication
How we use it
- To create your account and issue your pledge badge
- To display your name and country on the public pledger list (if you take the pledge)
- To send you a sign-in link if you choose passwordless email authentication
- To prevent duplicate badge issuance across sign-in providers
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your personal data with third parties
- We don't send marketing emails
- We don't use your data for advertising
- We don't track you across other websites
Where your data lives
Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, managed through Firebase. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. Both are governed by Google's privacy and security practices.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at privacy@2550.org. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

We use essential cookies for authentication (Firebase session). We may use basic analytics to understand site usage. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
